We have our finalized our Bargaining Committee.  Here are the people that will be representing all of our members at the bargaining table, alongside our USW staff representatives:

Our Collective Agreement is Posted!

The Collective Agreement is here! Click the file link on the Collective AGreement tab of the website to access it.  Please note that this version is not yet official, but we wanted to get it out as soon as we could. Five months is long enough! Contact us at [email protected] If you have any questions. We hope to order the printed books soon.

Updated Voting Times for Billings Court Manor

We have added a second slot from 6pm-7pm in the chapel for the Bargaining Committee vote on Tuesday.

Vote times will now be:

1-4pm & 6-7pm in the chapel at Billings Court Manor on Tuesday, August 15th.  All Union members from Billings Court Manor are eligible to vote in order to elect two Bargaining Commitee members from Billings Court. Hope to see you there!

A few words from the candidates for Bargaining Committee

The election for Bargaining Committee positions at Billings Court Manor will be held Tuesday, August 15th from 1-4pm in the Chapel at Billings Court.  All members that work at Billings Court are eligible to vote on Tuesday. We hope to see you there!

Here are a few words from each of the candidates:

Bargaining Committee Election at Billings Court Manor

After receiving nominations and confirming if those that were nominated wanted to accept or decline their nomination, we have determined that there will be an election at Billings Court Manor for the two Bargaining Committee positions at that home.  Members who work at Billings Court will be eligible to vote in the election.

The Nominees are:

  • Tina Glendinning - PSW
  • Terry Marck - PSW
  • Rosalee Samuda - RPN

The vote will be held on Tuesday, August 15th from 1-4pm in the chapel at Billings Court Manor.

Nominations for Bargaining Committee

The current Collective Agreement expires in November of 2023 and as such our local Union will elect a Bargaining Committee in accordance with the Local Union by-laws. 

We are accepting nominations for the following number of bargaining committee positions from each home: 

Billings Court Manor – 2

Crescent Park Lodge - 1

Maple Park Lodge – 1

Millennium Trail Manor – 2 

Should more than the required number of members be nominated from a home, an election will be held to determine the representative(s) from that home.
