A few words from the candidates for Bargaining Committee

The election for Bargaining Committee positions at Billings Court Manor will be held Tuesday, August 15th from 1-4pm in the Chapel at Billings Court.  All members that work at Billings Court are eligible to vote on Tuesday. We hope to see you there!

Here are a few words from each of the candidates:

Tina Glendinning: "I will go above and beyond to make sure all demands are heard for all my fellow co-workers in all departments. All my fellow co- workers know I’m a great team player and detail oriented. Please give me the opportunity to represent all fellow co-workers in all departments."

Terry Marck: "I want to negotiate the best contact for my members. I don't want the negotiating committee to allow management to take articles or benefits away that we have all ready bargained."

Rosalee Samuda: "As employee of billings court I do support and understand that my employment depend on my hourly, daily, monthly employment and i am sure most  value said sentiments with 110% commitment to our residents and or employee. However, at times as employees we collectively have dreams and values that may go unnoticed, this could be due to oversight, lack initiative, unsure of approach, how to utilize/access services provided to us by our  USW. 

If I am selected, I promise all member that not only that i will honestly and sincerely preform my duties as a union rep  and member, but I will ensure that all members received and given fair access , communication and services in the best interest of all members, while at the same time taking our employer (BMC) into consideration of what right and fair for all parties involved. 

I've already seen areas that I can definitely improved on with all employees (union and/or non union) here at BCM and also with all USW members, and/or USW staffs."

if given the opportunity, I am sure i will not disappoint those that vote for me and/or those who did not. I will ensure I put in the work and ask for help and guidance as i serve all members of USW as i work collective with the staff of USW. 

My ability to analyzed and negotiate is an asset. As a hard working person,  my skills and abilities is definitely an asset for this office and will definitely be of benefit to all."
