What is HLDAA?

HLDAA is short for the Hospital Labour Disputes Arbitration Act.

When we enter into negotiations with the employer, if we are unable to agree on the terms and conditions for a new collective agreement, we proceed to a binding arbitration process. That process is called HLDAA. 

Our most recent collective agreement with the employer is from the result of the HLDAA process.  The award is posted here and we wll have the agreement posted in its entirety very soon.
