May 30th Protest at Queen's Park

On Thursday May 30th, members from our local Union, including President Brenda Gagon, attended a protest at Queen's Park.

Nominations for Bargaining Committee

The current Collective Agreement expires in November of 2023 and as such our local Union will elect a Bargaining Committee in accordance with the Local Union by-laws. 

We are accepting nominations for the following number of bargaining committee positions from each home: 

Billings Court Manor – 2

Crescent Park Lodge - 1

Maple Park Lodge – 1

Millennium Trail Manor – 2 

Should more than the required number of members be nominated from a home, an election will be held to determine the representative(s) from that home.

Finally! We've been working at getting this tool up and running for a while.  We intend to post regular updates about what's going on in the workplace and your Union. 

The new Collective Agreement hasn't finished the editing and proof reading process yet, but it will be posted here too, on the Collective Agreement tab.  The HLDAA award details have been posted.  We will have contact information for your local Union representatives.  Your stewards, your health and safety activists and your executive.
